FOREIGN INVESTMENTS
Where applicable, and to the extent permitted by the applicable regulations, Brent Wealth may enter into any transaction in investments primarily outside the RSA (‘Foreign Investments’). Exchange control application, in undertaking transactions in foreign investments, the client acknowledges that the conversion of South African Rands to foreign currency is subject to any conditions imposed by Exchange Control.
The client indemnifies and holds harmless Brent Wealth in the event that his application is denied or cancelled, and against any claim for loss or damage sustained as a result thereof, including any interest or exchange rate fluctuation.
Foreign costs Brent Wealth shall submit to or may recoup from the client, any applicable administration fees, charges or management fees charged. The client agrees to be bound by and shall act in accordance with the rules of any foreign exchange control, including any rules thereof. The client also agrees not to cede, assign, make over or transfer any obligations.
Brent Wealth Management Limited provides asset management consulting services to both retail and institutional clients, creating optimised portfolios with diversification across various fund managers and asset classes for Pension Funds, Provident Funds, Group and Retirement Annuities and for Independent Financial Advisors.
The Portfolios are constructed by implementing Brent Wealth’s Asset Management’s Investment Philosophy, to maximise return and minimise risk through enhanced diversification and optimisation.
The fund selection process is rigorous and only the best managers are selected. Each fund manager must pass the Brent Wealth due diligence processes.
Once a fund manager is selected to be included in a portfolio, Brent Wealth’s risk management team ensures that the underlying fund and relevant fund managers meet the high standards of Brent Wealth on a continuous basis.
The client appoints Brent Wealth to act as an asset management advisory service and mandates Brent Wealth to engage with service providers and fund managers in this regard.
The client authorises Brent Wealth to enter into the transactions on their behalf with various fund managers and diverse asset classes.
